Common questions about funded trading
Straight answers to what traders ask before they start — payouts, costs, rules and platforms. Live numbers come from the same system that runs our challenges.
Payouts
You trade a demo funded account; when you hit your performance-reward conditions, you request a payout from the dashboard and choose your payout method. We process every reward within 48 hours — if we ever miss that window, you receive 100% of the reward. Real payout certificates are published on our Rewards & Testimonials page.
Within 48 hours of your request — guaranteed. Miss the window and the reward is 100% yours instead of the standard split. Most payouts complete far sooner.
$100 on every plan. You can request as soon as your account meets its reward conditions and payout cadence — see your plan's table for the exact cycle.
Bank transfer and crypto payouts are supported, with more methods depending on your region. You pick the method during the payout request.
It depends on the plan — some plans offer on-demand requests, others run a weekly or bi-weekly cycle. The exact cadence is listed in each plan's table and on Our Rules. What's the same everywhere: once you request, processing is guaranteed within 48 hours.
On our Rewards & Testimonials page (real certificates), on Prop Firm Match (4.5/5 from 263 verified reviews, many with payout certificates attached), and in our public payout totals: $10M+ paid to traders in 130+ countries.
Challenges & funded accounts
A funded account lets you trade with a simulated balance much larger than your own deposit. You first prove your skill in an evaluation (or skip it with Instant Funding); after passing you trade a Master Account, and profits you make there are paid to you as performance rewards according to your profit split. You never risk more than the fee you paid.
At For Traders, challenges currently start at $17 and Pay After Pass starts at $9 — with the activation due only after you pass. Prices scale with account size up to $100K per account (allocation up to $300K). The full live price list is on the Challenges page.
Trade smaller than you think you need to. Most failed challenges die to position sizing, not strategy: risking under 1% per trade keeps you inside the daily loss limit even on a bad streak. Pick the challenge type that fits your style (1-step for speed, 2-step for lower targets per phase), trade fewer high-quality setups, and use the unlimited time — there's no clock working against you.
If you pass, you move to a Master Account (KYC and contract come at that point). If the challenge ends on a limit breach, the account closes and you can start a fresh challenge whenever you're ready — many of our funded traders passed on a second or third attempt.
1-step (Fast) gets you funded quickest but with a single higher target. 2-step (Classic) spreads the work across two phases with a lower second target. 3-step (Strike) has the smallest targets per phase and the lowest entry price. Aggressive traders tend to pick Fast; steady traders get the most value from Classic or Strike.
Instant Funding skips the evaluation entirely — you trade a funded account from day one. The trade-off is a lower starting profit split (70%, or 80% growing to 100% on Instant Pro) and stricter risk limits. It suits proven traders who value time over the extra split.
No. For Traders challenges have unlimited time — you can take months on a phase if you want. Only inactivity (30 days without a trade) closes an account.
Rules
The daily loss limit is the most your equity may drop in a single day. At For Traders it's anchored to your initial balance (e.g. −4% on a Classic $100K = $4,000), so a profitable day doesn't quietly raise your risk base — the math stays the same every day. Exact values per plan are in the price table on each product page.
Max drawdown is the total loss that ends the account. A static drawdown is measured from your starting balance and never moves. A trailing drawdown follows your equity highs upward. For Traders plans state which type applies directly in the plan table — most use static or clearly-labelled trailing variants, defined before you buy.
Yes, EAs are allowed. What's prohibited is copying other people's signals, third-party account management, and latency/tick-arbitrage style exploits — your trading has to be your own.
Yes — overnight and weekend holding are allowed on For Traders accounts. Crypto trades 24/7, so there's no market close to worry about there at all.
During evaluations, news trading is fully allowed. On funded forex Master Accounts, opening or closing positions in a short window around high-impact news is restricted — a risk-management rule stated upfront. Crypto accounts have no news restrictions (the market has no scheduled news closes).
Copying between your own For Traders accounts is allowed within the stated limits; copying from other people, signal services or third parties is not. Check Our Rules for the current specifics before setting it up.
Platforms & markets
MetaTrader 5, TradeLocker and cTrader for forex and crypto, and For Traders X for exchange-listed futures (CME, COMEX, CBOT, NYMEX). You pick the platform when configuring your challenge.
All three. Forex and CFDs (FX pairs, metals, indices, energies), 70+ crypto coins traded 24/7 with leverage up to 1:20, and exchange-listed futures on For Traders X. Stocks are available as CFDs on selected platforms.
Up to 1:100 on forex (per instrument group; indices and commodities lower), and up to 1:20 on crypto — unusually high for crypto funded accounts. Exact per-plan leverage is listed in each plan's rules.

Yes. For Traders is a prop trading education platform founded in 2023 in Dubai (FT Trading Ltd.), with an office in Prague. It has paid out more than $10M to traders in 130+ countries, holds a 4.5/5 rating from 263 verified reviews on Prop Firm Match, and won Best Payout Process (Prop Firm Match, 2024).
You trade a simulated (demo) environment with virtual capital — that's what makes it accessible: you never risk a large deposit of your own. Your performance rewards, however, are real money, paid out within 48 hours of request.
Performance rewards are generally taxable income in your country of residence — how exactly depends on local law (self-employment income in some countries, other income in others). We don't withhold taxes for you; consult a local tax adviser for your situation.
Yes — once, when you pass your first evaluation (or before your first reward on Instant and Pay After Pass). It's a standard identity check that protects both sides; reviews on Prop Firm Match describe it as quick and smooth.
